Oasis Fans Smash Wembley Record by Drinking 250,000 Pints per Night

Oasis fans are breaking records at Wembley Stadium, guzzling an incredible 250,000 pints each night during their epic reunion shows.

Oasis Fans’ Unmatched Wembley Beer Consumption

Oasis fans have taken their legendary status to new heights—not just with their cheers but with their thirst! At Wembley Stadium, these Britpop giants' supporters have set a jaw-dropping new record by drinking more than 250,000 pints per night during the band’s recent concerts. That's over a quarter of a million pints per show, dwarfing the numbers from other massive gigs at this famed venue.

A Record-Breaking Drinking Spree

The staggering figures were shared by Delaware North, the catering company responsible for Wembley’s food and drinks. Reportedly, Oasis fans have been outpacing attendees of other notable concerts, including Coldplay and Taylor Swift.

So far, Oasis has performed three out of their seven scheduled shows at Wembley, with more gigs lined up for August and September. At each night, approximately 250,000 pints are sold—more than double Coldplay’s 120,000 pints per concert and a massive leap from Taylor Swift’s 40,000 pints sold during her ‘Eras Tour’ in London.

Breaking It Down: The Numbers Behind the Pints

Each pint at Wembley costs £8.20 (roughly $10.50), and with around 80,000 fans attending per show, that averages about three pints per attendee. But since not every fan drinks beer and some choose other beverages or don’t drink at all, the actual consumption per drinking fan could be even higher. That's a lot of thirsty fans!

Behind the Scenes: Storing the Booze

The extraordinary demand for beer has thrown a curveball at Wembley’s logistics. The catering crew has had to get creative with storage, reportedly engaging in a “turf war” with cleaning and maintenance teams to claim cupboard space and areas under escalators for storing kegs.

Impact on Local Pubs and Economy

The ripple effect of Oasis’ concerts extends beyond Wembley’s gates. The Times reports that about 4,500 kegs are moved in and out of Wembley per show, and pubs along nearby tube lines are “packed to the rafters” on concert days.

Martin Williams, CEO of Evolv, which runs upscale restaurants around London, noted, “It’s a very welcome boost to the industry which, no thanks to the Chancellor, has not had an easy ride over the past year.” He’s referring to recent increases in minimum wage and national insurance contributions that have squeezed hospitality venues.

Oasis’s Tour and Economic Boosts Beyond London

Before Wembley, Liam and Noel Gallagher launched their long-awaited ‘Live ‘25’ tour in Cardiff and Manchester, with sold-out shows that sent beer sales soaring. A microbrewery near Cardiff revealed to the BBC that their sales quadrupled during the band’s visit. Similarly, a report showed beer and cider sales rose 56% the week Oasis hit town.

Beyond beer, the band’s Manchester gigs raised roughly £250,000 (about $320,000), which will be invested in grassroots music venues in the city—a win for the local music scene.

Global Tour Dates and Final Wembley Shows

Following the London stint, Oasis plans to hit Edinburgh, Dublin, North and South America, Australia, South Korea, and Japan. They will return for two final Wembley shows in September, with talks underway about adding Italy to their European tour.

Oasis ‘Live ‘25’: A Phenomenal Comeback

Their comeback shows have been met with immense praise. At the historic Cardiff kickoff, critics hailed the band’s fresh yet nostalgic vibe, branding them “the quintessential stadium band playing the greatest hits of greatest hits.”

“Playing before a pop-art-meets-psychedelia visual spectacular that never distracts but will look sick on a phone, they seem the quintessential stadium band playing the greatest hits of greatest hits.”

Liam and Noel Gallagher appear to be enjoying their reunion, with fellow musicians like Cast’s John Power noting they’re “in an absolutely wonderful place.”
