Pink Floyd Show: Roger Waters and Son Harry Announce 2027 Tour
Pink Floyd Show fans can look forward to a faithful new live production from Roger Waters and Harry, touring North America throughout 2027.
A New Chapter for a Familiar Sound
Few album eras carry the emotional weight of Pink Floyd’s 1970s run. Now, Roger Waters and his son Harry are bringing that music back to the stage with “Legacy – A Pink Floyd Show,” a new touring production built around the band’s celebrated 1971–1979 period.
For longtime listeners, that stretch of music feels almost cinematic: the ticking clocks, the lonely saxophone, the theatrical tension and those enormous choruses that seem to hover in the air long after the record ends. This new production aims to recreate that atmosphere in concert, with Roger guiding the project behind the scenes and Harry taking the musical reins.

Roger has created the production, while Harry will serve as musical director. He’ll also lead a 10-piece band, contributing on B3 organ, piano and vocals. Roger himself is not scheduled to perform during the shows, so the evening will be carried by Harry and the assembled musicians.
A Faithful Journey Through Pink Floyd’s Golden Era
The heart of the Pink Floyd Show will be a song selection drawn from four landmark albums:
- The Dark Side of the Moon
- Wish You Were Here
- Animals
- The Wall
The concerts are expected to last more than two hours, with the musicians aiming to reproduce the original recordings as closely as possible. That means fans can anticipate a performance shaped around the detail, structure and sonic precision of the studio albums rather than a loose collection of greatest hits.
Harry described the musical goal plainly:
“We are going to authentically recreate the albums as close to note-for-note as we possibly can.”
— Harry Waters
That promise should sound especially appealing to listeners who know these records down to the smallest transition. Pink Floyd’s albums were never background music; they were immersive worlds. Recreating them live is less like checking off songs on a set list and more like rebuilding a familiar dream, one keyboard line and guitar phrase at a time.
LED Visuals Will Expand the Concert Experience
The music won’t be working alone. Roger’s team has developed the stage production with high-definition LED screens featuring imagery inspired by Pink Floyd’s original visual work.
That visual element is crucial to the group’s identity. Pink Floyd concerts have long been associated with bold images, surreal atmosphere and a sense of scale that reaches beyond the stage itself. For “Legacy,” those ideas will be adapted into a modern production while remaining connected to the visual language fans associate with the band’s classic era.
The result is intended to be more than a standard tribute performance. It is being presented as a full-scale concert experience, combining a large live band, album-focused arrangements and carefully designed visuals.
The Tour Begins in Georgia in February 2027
The extensive tour will begin on February 15, 2027, in Columbus, Georgia, before moving through more than 100 cities across North America and Europe. The first North American dates have been announced, while the European portion is expected to be revealed later.
Tickets for the announced North American performances go on general sale at 10 a.m. local time on Friday, October 2. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.
Roger shared his enthusiasm for the project, emphasizing the personal and communal power of the songs:
“These songs have meant so much to so many people for so many years, and I’m excited for audiences to come together and experience them live again. Harry has assembled a terrific band, and I can’t wait for fans around the world to see the special show we’ve created together.”
— Roger Waters
That idea of audiences gathering around the music feels especially fitting. Pink Floyd’s records have always encouraged solitary listening, but in a theater or arena, those same songs can suddenly become communal—thousands of people recognizing the same opening note at exactly the same moment.
Harry Waters Brings a Deep Personal Connection
Harry’s role in the production is more than a professional assignment. He grew up closely connected to his father’s music, and his childhood voice appeared on Pink Floyd’s “Goodbye Blue Sky”.
He later spent more than 15 years touring with Roger, including performances connected to The Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall tours, as well as the Desert Trip festival in 2016. That history gives him an unusually direct relationship with the material. He isn’t approaching these songs as an outsider trying to imitate a distant legacy; he has lived alongside them for much of his life.
Still, Harry says his appreciation for the music developed independently of his family connection:
“I fell in love with the music immediately. It really had an impact on me, irrespective of any bias because it was Dad’s music. I still love it deeply to this day.”
He added:
“Collaborating with Dad on this new production is such an honor, and I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to bring this music to fans old and new, around the world.”
The father-and-son collaboration also arrives after a complicated period. In 2023, Harry revealed that Roger had fired him from his touring band. At the time, Harry described the experience as “pretty miserable” and said Roger had wanted “a change of blood, something new, something fresh.”
Harry later performed with the Pink Floyd tribute group Brit Floyd before he and Roger began working together on “Legacy.” In that sense, the new production represents not only a celebration of classic music but also a return to collaboration after a difficult professional split.
Finding the Voice for the Production
Earlier in the year, Roger launched a worldwide search for a singer who could recreate the vocals he had performed with Pink Floyd.
He described Harry’s band as having “one missing link: somebody who can sing everything that I could sing 50 years ago.” The search ultimately attracted more than 3,000 submissions.
The role went to Canadian-born, Nashville-based vocalist Clifton David Broadbridge, who secured the position after an in-person audition. His addition completes the vocal side of the 10-piece lineup and supports the production’s goal of staying close to the original album arrangements.
That emphasis on vocal accuracy matters. These songs are built around distinctive phrasing, carefully layered harmonies and dramatic shifts in tone. When the music is as familiar as The Wall or Wish You Were Here, even a small change can feel enormous to devoted listeners.

A Broader Pink Floyd Conversation
“Legacy – A Pink Floyd Show” arrives as interest in the band’s 1971–1979 period remains strong. Pink Floyd recently revisited that era with the 8-Tracks compilation, adding another look at the music that shaped the group’s enduring reputation.
The new production also comes amid continued distance between Roger and David Gilmour. Last year, Gilmour said there was “no possible way” he would work with Waters again, describing their relationship as having become “completely impossible.”
For fans, those tensions may sit in the background, but the music itself continues to travel. Now Harry Waters and a 10-piece band will carry a carefully rebuilt version of that catalog to theaters and concert halls across North America.
“Legacy – A Pink Floyd Show” promises an album-focused evening shaped by precision, atmosphere and family history. Will you be adding one of these dates to your 2027 concert calendar?
