Crank the subwoofer to 5, and you get a thrilling bump in bass and rumble during Glass Onion. For Wakanda Forever, the increase is subtler, likely because bass is already prominent at level 3.

The volume capacity is generous enough to support a small home theater setup, so be careful not to blast your ears.

Among the four audio modes, two stand out: I love Stereo for its clarity, but the Virtual Speakers mode deserves applause. It mimics the effect of seven virtual speakers, delivering a wider soundstage, stronger bass, clearer dialogue, and an overall immersive surround sound feel.

Virtual Headset mode is cool too—Razer touts it as delivering precise positional audio like a gaming headset. It’s a bit less detailed but spreads sound wider, about 20 cm beyond the soundbar edges, with very accurate positioning.
